Abstract

The emergence of the phenomenon of Efficient Market Hypothesis and Theory Overreaction Hypothesis makes it difficult for investors to understand the rise in stock prices. Therefore, additional information is needed on what variables cause changes in stock prices. Research on stock prices has been done by many researchers before, however there is no research that examines by model of value added through panel data model estimation approach. We consider three value-added models that encompass most commonly estimated specifications. The purpose of the study was to find out if the value-added model was capable of increasing stock prices. The population used in this study is a construction company listed on the Indonesian stock exchange. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, and the number of samples used is 60. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The conclusion obtained from this study is that Economic Value Added has a significant negative effect on stock prices. Market Value Added, and Financial Value Added has a significant positive impact on stock prices. The contribution of this research is very large for investors, because the results of this study can be used as a guideline for investors to understand the increase in stock prices.

Abstract

Meeting the needs of infrastructure development requires contributions from various parties, including the government and business entities. To meet this need, a Government and Business Entity Cooperation financing scheme is needed that allows the government and business entities to contribute. Indonesia as the largest Muslim country in the world is experiencing rapid development in the halal value chain, including the initiation of infrastructure provision with the Sharia PPP financing scheme. Innovation Readiness Level (IRL/’Tingkat Kesiapan Inovasi = Katsinov’) and Technology Readiness Level (TRL/’Tingkat Kesiapterapan Teknologi = TKT’). The method used is a participatory approach through Focus Group Discussions (FGD), where discussions are held with stakeholders for financing transportation infrastructure through the Sharia PPP financing scheme. The analysis was carried out to determine the level of readiness through the Katsinov and TRL self-assessment and then the results of the TRL self-assessment were confirmed to the respondents to determine the level of readiness. The output of this research is an analysis model for measuring infrastructure financing readiness through a Sharia PPP financing scheme with the results being Katsinov level 1 and level 3 TRL. This shows that this readiness measurement model needs to be improved so that stakeholders understand the benefits, at least it can be increased to Katsinov which is more than 1, and it would be very good if Kaysinov 3 and its TRL became 8 or 9 so that related parties feel safe using the sharia PPP financing scheme.

Abstract

Indonesia's global sharia economic map growth can be seen in the Global Islamic Economy Indicator ranking. However, Islamic banks did not develop by the ideals of the scholars. Policymakers must prioritize the development of the Islamic finance industry to encourage economic growth. Banking as a financial institution that is very much needed by the community must be given full support so that small communities can quickly obtain capital. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of the BI Rate on the total financing of Islamic Commercial Banks for 2014-2021, with TPF as a moderating variable. This study uses a quantitative method of secondary data from the BUS annual report published on the bank's official website during the 2014-2015 period. The data technique used in this study is a descriptive analysis of the classical assumption test. The results showed that the BI Rate did not significantly affect the total financing of Islamic commercial banks. In contrast, third-party funds with the total financing of Islamic commercial banks showed a significant relationship. Meanwhile, the influence of the BI Rate on Islamic commercial bank financing was moderated by third-party funds.
